Geothermal energy is a renewable and inexhaustible energy. Its use means energy saving, environmental care and minimum operating cost

Geothermal heating

Thermia geothermal heat pumps supply 100% of the housing's heat requirements even at outside temperatures of up to -40 ° C.

Geothermal energy was developed in the Nordic countries during periods of energy crisis of the twentieth century, which promoted the investigation of systems that allowed the heating of homes, in very low temperature environments, at the lowest possible cost and with a sincere concern for ecology

Geothermal cooling

In Spain we don't have those extreme cold temperatures in northern Europe but we do have heat. The growing demand for comfort in the summer months, with temperatures reaching 40 ºC, has made the air conditioning installations have been increasing. For this reason the demand, and therefore the energy expenditure, in this period are very high.

Aware of the need to cool the house in southern Europe, the Thermia geothermal pumps incorporate a module that allows the process to be reversed, achieving the cooling of the house using underfloor heating or fan-coils, either through passive cold or active cold It is important to note that at the same time that it is cold, Thermia heat pumps are capable of simultaneously producing domestic hot water.

Domestic hot water (ACS) with geothermal energy

The combination of geothermal energy with heat pump allows us to obtain domestic hot water throughout the year and constantly, allowing us to combine several consumptions within a home. No matter whether it is winter or summer and that the system is demanding heat or cold, hot water will always be available.

In addition, thanks to the TWS technology developed by Thermia, it is possible to heat a 180-liter DHW tank in 20 minutes. And if what you want is to obtain the maximum production of hot water, the new Thermia G3 series can supply it to us.

The Thermia ACS tanks can be incorporated into the heat pump to occupy the minimum space, or they can be separated for those cases in which the demand for domestic hot water is high. Its capacities range from 180 liters to 1,000 liters. All of them incorporate anti-legionella system.

Thanks to the fact that it is a renewable and efficient energy, solar panels for ACS production support can be completely eliminated. There will therefore be no equipment or element outside the home.
